Den-Ta A.H. Coleman, Jr.

Cow Sung Gee Do was founded by Den-Ta A.H. Coleman Jr. on May 7, 2012. (Den-Ta means “The house of light that guides through darkness.”) A native of Richmond, Virginia, I bring 30 years of Martial Arts training in various styles.

 The teachings and influence of two Masters have shaped the foundation of this system: Supreme Grand Master Coach Hulon Willis, and his teacher, Grand Master Michael L. Morse (Hanshi) of American Quen Sow Gwo Shu Goan.

 As for my personal rank, I believe that the belt around your waist does not define who you are—it is merely a status that reflects recognition in a particular martial arts system. What truly defines you is not the rank, but your actions. If you declare greatness, it may not be recognized, but if others see greatness in you, then your deeds and actions speak for themselves.
